Project Manager

Title: Project Manager

Reports to: Sr. Project Manager

Job Summary

The Project Manager is the primary leader in the field and is directly accountable for the safety, financial performance and team development on site. The Project Manager will lead the project team in construction of entire project. This position is responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with the subcontractors, owner, and engineers.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Participate in development of project chart of accounts, site logistics plan and project contract status report
  • Maintains thorough understanding of the Pure Power/Owner contract
  • Oversee the pay request process, monitor project costs and job cost report and analyze monthly total cost projection reports
  • Implements and monitor training and progress of all staff personnel
  • Implements applicable safety, EEO and Affirmative Action programs
  • Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors and owners to represent Pure Power core values

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Construction Management or Engineering with 5 years’ experience project managing solar or High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) with 8 years’ experience project managing solar
  • General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
  • Experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work
  • Valid government Issued Driver’s License
  • Eligible to work in the US, pass a criminal/civil background check, drug screen and motor vehicle records search
  • Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills. Proficient at the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
